Angharad Richards - Angharad Richards
ANGHARAD RICHARDS

Profession:

Accountant

Company:

A.R. Young Financial Chartered Accountants

Education

Secondary to 'A' level. Distinction in Accountancy

Family:

Born in Abergiveme, 1958. Divorced, part-time carer to mother Mavis and devoted to pet parrot, Henry

Background:

Company
Set up A.R. Young Accountants in May 2001 following her move from her husband's company, Sauce & Co. Annual turnover is £300,000 and she is a sole trader. The majority of her business comes from dealing with tax returns, VAT, company bookkeeping, etc

Personal
Time keeping is a high priority with Angharad. Loves filing; doesn't believe in leaving things hanging around. Resistant to change. When she's not working, Angharad finds relaxation in cleaning - almost to a state of obsession. Faxing is her main way of communicating with her clients; going online is a frightening and frustrating proposition for her, much to the annoyance of her loyal customers.

Likes:

Henry, cheese, economics, specialist group holidays that allow her to see the world, such as bird-watching, walking and wreck-diving.

Dislikes:

Sums that don't add-up, men who wear brown shoes and technology.

Advice:

"I don't give advice: I make recommendations based on specific circumstances, when I'm paid to do so."
