Granting your wishes
The KEF Scholarship pays over £140 per week for nine months to selected businesses that can show they’re serious about succeeding. Now that’s a major leg-up! You never know, you could qualify. But this scholarship is like any other scholarship – it will go to the young businesses who are committed to achieving great things.
Needing the dough – earning the dough
The Scholarships aren’t just given away to anyone. You’ll need to fulfil certain criteria.
You need:
And the business must be your main job and fall within certain business categories.
Apply yourself
You can apply for KEF funding through the Entrepreneurship Champion at your institution. They will help you put your application together and send it to the assessment panel. Your application and your business plan will be assessed together. So it's worth making sure that your business plan is as detailed and accurate as it can be. (To have a look at the Application Form and the Business Plan Template, check out the downloads at the bottom of the page. Remember, you need to complete these with your Entrepreneurship Champion)
Money, money, money
KEF is funded by the Welsh Assembly and the European Union. It is designed to unlock your potential to create wealth. So what are you waiting for? Get creating!
